Home-owners Guide to Selecting a Contractor
At LD Construction we would be honored to help you make your next home improvement dream come true! However we realize that not every customer will select us and we would like to take a moment to provide you with some tips when selecting a contractor so that you can decrease your chance of having   problems and get the job done correctly!  1. Construction Takes Time! When considering a project be sure to hire your contractor early! Most good companies are booking projects months in advance by May of each year! So Book Early! 2. Consider the Process Picking colors, getting permits, dealing with special orders, & designing are only a small number of items that must be done before the project can even start! 3. References Any construction company should be able to provide you a list of people to talk to about their success with the company and other projects you can drive by and see. 4. Permits If your project requires a permit your contractor should be taking care of  getting it. If a company indicates that you have to obtain it be very concerned! Getting a permit from a city or township requires a company to prove they have insurance, are licensed in PA, & have the correct drawing(s) for the project. For a good company this is not ever an issue!
